Renovate teaching in the field of European studies and international relations at the USSES academically and restructure it in line with the recommendations of the Bologna process.

Description :

organize cooperation with all partners in order to develop a university training program that will strengthen the links between university training and the business world. The aim is to train specialists in the field of international and European relations. These include economic, legal and political aspects. During the implementation of this project, the "European Studies and International Relations" specialization was created at Saratov University of Social and Economic Sciences, and new courses were developed. In addition to the direct skills of the specialization, students are given the opportunity to improve their language skills. Their diploma is expected to be recognized in the countries participating in the EHEA.

The program for the new specialization was adopted by the Scientific Council of Saratov University of Social Sciences and validated by the federal authorities. The specialization was opened for the first time in the 2004-2005 academic year. Students from other faculties competed to enter the second and third years of the new specialization.

A series of seminars and conferences were organized during the project: 1) "TEMPUS Information Days" for USSES students interested in the new specialization; 2) "TEMPUS Seminars" for students and teachers of the USSES Faculty of Economics and Management; 3) "Days of International Relations between the EU and Russia"; 4) seminar "The Process of World Regionalization". These days were organized in the form of debates on the results of the project, the prospects for the development of international relations between the EU and Russia in general, and the Saratov region in particular. They were the subject of publications.
