Presentation

The CREG is a host team of theUniversité Grenoble Alpes. The CREG provides an environment conducive to the development of holistic and pluralistic approaches. Its aim is to promote a Political Economy approach, through both theoretical and applied research on a variety of subjects.
Its scientific program, "International Integration and Governance", studies the problems posed by the evolution of globalization and its interactions with modes of economic development, at the level of companies and territories. It is thus in line with research centers in France and abroad that are increasingly focusing on linking international economic analysis with infra- and supra-national levels of analysis.

Its originality lies in :

- on the one hand, to integrate several disciplinary skills in economics and management (industrial, international, labor and financial economics) around more specific questions, organized according to three work themes, mobilizing qualitative or quantitative methods as appropriate:
  • labor governance in a globalized economy ;
  • modes of integration and international interdependence ;
  • development and emergence.

- and secondly, to develop models of international political economy, which are still relatively undeveloped in France despite having long been recognized in Anglo-Saxon academic circles.
