Financing your project

Financing your continuing education project

The UGA provides a space to support you according to your status:

Depending on your status, there are schemes to help you finance your training. The law of September 5, 2018 for the freedom to choose one's professional future came into force on January 1, 2019. It reforms apprenticeship, unemployment insurance and vocational training and aims to secure career paths to prevent and combat unemployment.

Personal training account (CPF)

All FEG degree courses are CPF-eligible: 3rd year Bachelor's degree, professional Bachelor's degree and 2nd year Master's degree. Diplomas are registered in the RNCP : Répertoire national des certifications professionnelles

The Personal Training Account (CPF) can be used by any employee throughout his or her working life, including during periods of unemployment, to follow training leading to qualifications or certification. It enables lifelong training and professional development.
The CPF has replaced the individual right to training (DIF). Employees do not lose the hours acquired under the DIF if these have been integrated into the CPF before July1, 2021.
For full-time or part-time employees, the account can be topped up by up to €500 per working year, up to a maximum of €5,000.

The Professional Transition Project personal training account (CPF PTP)

The CPF for professional transition enables employees wishing to change jobs or professions to finance CPF-eligible training courses in line with their project.
Any private-sector employee can submit a professional transition project by mobilizing his or her CPF, whatever the nature of his or her employment contract, and whatever the size of the company.

PRO-A - Work-linked training or promotion

Coming into force on January 1, 2019, the Pro-A aims to facilitate professional development or reorientation, through work-study training leading to a recognized qualification. The scheme can be mobilized to change jobs, professions or benefit from social or professional promotion through training. PRO-A is aimed at employees with the lowest qualifications.

Skills development plan

As of January 1, 2019 the skills development plan replaces the training plan. It enables employees to take part in training courses initiated by their employer, as opposed to training courses they can take on their own initiative through their personal training account. A human resources management tool, the skills development plan brings together all the actions implemented by the company to meet its needs: skills enhancement, support for digital transformation, organizational changes, etc.
