Description :

The main aim of this project was to create a university education that would train economic and management executives capable of integrating and contributing to the prosperity of a company in the context of international economic integration. As a result, the European Master's Degree in Economics was launched at the St Petersburg University of Economics and Finance in 2006.

From now on, each Master's student has the unique opportunity to obtain a double degree, from FINEC and from one of three European universities, depending on the specialization chosen: at the Université Pierre Mendes France: "La gestion des ressources humaines et la compétitivité internationale", at the Sapienza University, Rome "Quality management and innovations", at the Krakow Academy of Economics "Change management in the global sphere".

The challenge and success of the Master's program has been to go beyond the usual standards inherited from the Soviet era, and to introduce new management methods in the current strategic context of companies faced with the internationalization of competition and production. As a result, a unique curriculum has been created that meets both the standards of the Bologna Process and the federal standards of the Russian Ministry of Education.

The project has resulted in the implementation of a Master's degree, new in Russia, and it has done so doubly: both a Russian Master's degree, newly accredited by the ministerial authorities, and simultaneous access to 3 Master's degrees from European universities adapted from their accredited bases in each of the 3 countries concerned.
