To help young people and jobseekers enter or re-enter the workforce and acquire a recognized professional qualification (diploma, professional qualification registered in the "répertoire des certifications").
Beneficiaries
Young people aged 16 to 25 wishing to complete their initial training,
Jobseekers aged 26 and over,
Beneficiaries of minimum social benefits: revenu de solidarité active (RSA), allocation de solidarité spécifique (ASS) or allocation aux adultes handicapés (AAH), and former holders of a contrat unique d'insertion (CUI).
Companies concerned
All employers liable for financing continuing vocational training, with the exception of the State, local authorities and their administrative public bodies.
But also :
- with special conditions, shipping companies for their seagoing personnel, - employers' groups for integration and qualification (GEIQ), - temporary employment agencies (professional activities related to training are then carried out within the framework of temporary assignments).

Type of contract
6 to 12-month fixed-term contract (renewable once if the beneficiary has not obtained the desired qualification under the conditions of failure), which can be extended to 24 months by branch agreement,
Up to 36 months for priority groups: - Jobseekers who have been registered with Pôle emploi for over a year, - Recipients of minimum social benefits (RSA, ASS, or AAH) and former holders of a contrat unique d'insertion (CUI),
Open-ended contract with 6 to 12 months' professional training, at the start of the open-ended contract.
Training
Technological and practical training at the IUT de Valence: Between 455 and 580h/year, depending on the course, representing 15 to 25% of the duration of the fixed-term contract or the professionalization action of an open-ended contract. A branch agreement can increase the duration of these actions beyond 25%.
On-the-job training
Minimum wage For holders of a professional qualification equal to or higher than the baccalauréat, or a higher education diploma.
From age 16 to 20: 65% of SMIC
From age 21 to 25: 80% of SMIC
Aged over 26: 100% of the SMIC or 85% of the industry minimum wage (whichever is more advantageous for the employee).
If the employee turns 21 during the course of the contract, the amounts are revalued from the first day of the month following the day on which the holder of the professionalization contract turns 21. If the employee turns 26 during the course of the contract, this has no automatic impact on his or her remuneration until the end of the contract.
The professionalisation contract must be drawn up on a standard form (Cerfa) available on the Ministry of Labour website. This form, completed and signed by the beneficiary of the professionalisation contract and the employer, is sent to your OPCO, which examines the contract's admissibility and informs you of its decision.
The OPCO decides within 20 days of receipt of the contract whether or not to provide financial support, and notifies the employer of its decision. The OPCO then submits the professionalization contract, together with its decision, to the DIRECCTE (Directeur régional des entreprises, de la concurrence, de la consommation du travail et de l'emploi) in electronic form.
