Professional degree in economics and sustainable management of water and resources (Valence)

Licence pro Water

Presentation of the professional license

With an interdisciplinary profile (social and environmental sciences), the holder of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Protection and Management, with a specialization in Water and Resource Economics and Management, will be able to draw on a wide range of skills to carry out diagnostics and implement comprehensive hydraulic projects.

It will be able to put its skills to good use, whether as a service provider or project manager, both in understanding the issues structuring the many different water-related areas (and in particular in analyzing the problems linking the small and large water cycles) and in designing, implementing and evaluating the water projects themselves.

By placing the economy at the service of water, but also water at the service of the economy, this course aims to train local and regional development players to work, both nationally and internationally, towards sustainable water management, understood in terms of its various uses (domestic, industrial, agricultural, environmental, energy, recreational, etc.).

Job opportunities

  • Technicians in local authorities, administrations and organizations responsible for water management, regional planning and environmental protection.
